Of: Peter R. Fischer and Jan Götze

Appearance, horsepower, driving behavior: these are important aspects of a car. But what about the image? And what’s really annoying?

The answers can be found in the new AUTO-BILD podcast “First drive, then talk”!

One car, two editors: The new AUTO-BILD podcast can be summarized as easily as that. But there is much more to “drive first, talk then”!

Every two weeks, the two editors Peter Fischer and Jan Götze grab a car that is not exactly everyday, test it extensively and then go into detail. Do you like the design? How is the processing? What did you notice while driving?

In addition to important aspects such as design, technology, processing quality and driving performance, completely subjective points are also discussed. What is the image of the car like? What will you remember for a long time? What was possibly annoying? And, very important: Who should buy this car anyway?

Answers to all these questions and more are always available on Wednesdays in the AUTO BILD podcast “Drive first, then talk” – now available wherever there are podcasts!

Here is the trailer for the podcast:

In episode 3 of “First drive, then talk” things get luxurious: Jan and Peter drive a 550 hp Bentley Continental GTC V8 and reveal why a Bentley is in a different league for them than, for example, a BMW M8 or a Mercedes-AMG P 63.

But of course it doesn’t stop at the mere facts – the two tell of their experiences with the Luxury convertible and go through the Bentley’s list of options to find out that there are extras worth a new Mercedes E-Class on board. They also discuss the question of whether it is frightening to drive a car in everyday life that costs almost a quarter of a million euros.

And if you want to know why parking and washing the car with the Bentley are a challenge, then you should definitely listen to the third episode of “First drive, then talk” here.
