A total of 5586 luxury cars went to wealthy customers all over the world, as the BMW subsidiary announced today. For volume manufacturers, 5,600 models sold are nothing, at Rolls-Royce the calculation is different – the cars cost higher three-digit amounts, and a lot is custom-made on customer request.

2021 was a “phenomenal year” for Rolls-Royce, said company boss Torsten Müller-Ötvös.

Rolls-Royce has delivered more cars than ever before in the company’s 117-year history. There was great demand all over the world – for example for the base model “Ghost” or the 2.6-ton SUV “Cullinan”.

And luxury electric sleds will soon be available too: Rolls-Royce is currently working on its first electric model called the “Specter”. What exactly the first Rolls-Royce Stromer should look like has not yet been published.
